Pete Tong DJ Academy Scholarships program rules:

Eligibility:
The contest is open to all individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in DJing.
Employees and immediate family members of the Pete Tong DJ Academy are not eligible to participate.

Entry Requirements:

To enter the contest, participants must fill out the forms and follow the guidelines provided in each form.


Judging Criteria:
The judging process is highly subjective and at the discretion of each teacher.
Each teacher will bring their personal culture, background, and feeling into consideration when choosing the candidates they believe are most suitable to receive the Pete Tong DJ Academy experience as a gift.
The judging panel will consist of our Teachers who are experienced DJs and music industry professionals.

Winners:
The contest will award 3 scholarships for the Pete Tong DJ Academy for each of our Teachers and Partner.
The winners will be announced within one month of the submission deadline.
The winners will be determined by the answers from your submission and will be notified by 15th of July 2023 date via email.

Scholarship Details:
The scholarship covers the full amount of cost of The FULL DJ COURSE at the Pete Tong DJ Academy. The scholarship is not transferable and has no cash value.
The non-monetary scholarship prize has no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash or other forms of compensation. The non-monetary scholarship prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged or resold.
Any and all prize related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the winner.

Acceptance of Scholarship:
Winners must confirm their acceptance of the scholarship within 2 days of being notified. Failure to do so will result in the scholarship being awarded to the next runner-up.

Publicity:
By entering the contest, participants agree to allow the Pete Tong DJ Academy to use their name, image, and mixtape for publicity and promotional purposes.

Disqualification:
The Pete Tong DJ Academy reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates the contest rules or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the contest.

Modification or Cancellation:
The Pete Tong DJ Academy reserves the right to modify or cancel the contest at any time for any reason, including but not limited to fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond the Pete Tong DJ Academy’s control that impairs the integrity of the contest.

Release and Limitations of Liability:
By participating in the contest, participants agree to release and hold harmless the Pete Tong DJ Academy, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the contest or receipt or use of any scholarship.

Privacy:
The DJ Academy will collect and use personal information provided by participants for the purpose of administering the contest and awarding the scholarships.
Participants’ personal information will be handled in accordance with the Pete Tong DJ Academy’s privacy policy.

Agreement to Rules:
By participating in the contest, participants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the Pete Tong DJ Academy, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the contest.

By entering the competition, all competitors agree to release and hold harmless Operator and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from such entrant’s participation in the sweepstakes and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof.

By entering the competition:

Each competitor agrees to abide by these competition Rules.  This competition is subject to all applicable state and federal laws.
Each competitor understands that competitor grants Operator the right, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, exploit and use, worldwide and in any media now known or hereafter in perpetuity throughout the world, your entry, application and application materials, including, without limitation, the entry and winner’s name, likeness, image, or statements about the competition, and biographical information as news, publicity or information and for any derivative competition, trade, advertising, public relations and promotional purposes without any compensation.

Any legal action or proceeding with respect to these Terms of Use or the Privacy Policy shall be brought before the competent courts of London.
